Sorry but while my post was slightly harsh, it did not receive any negative comments and was more a whole win/fail thing. I took yours off, Peter, because it did receive one and also I for one hate it when people use the word 'gay' in any other sense than to be a synonym for happy or to be describing your preference. I have never liked it as an insult and therefore will probably take it off/edit it to another word.

EVERYONE WHO CARES:

There is nothing wrong with being gay.

That doesn't mean you can't call people gay in a jocular manner unless they have a problem with it in which case you should probably apologise and sort it out amongst yourselves.

We're all big kids here, and we're all tree-hugging people-loving guys, but don't go overboard - be sensible with both dealing out insults and taking umbrage at them.
