| Of all the equipment that we need, goal hoops are going to be the hardest.
I'm thinking something along the lines of hula hoops glued/tied/duct taped to two PVC poles, which go into holes in the ground somehow.

| That's a good scheme, but it will be hard/expensive(?) to get it done. Does anyone know where to find this stuff for cheaps? | |

| PVC pipes sell on trademe from anywhere between $1000 and $10, depending on how many you want and how shirt they are. I think getting some that are reasonably thick, like, maybe the size of a wrist, or a bit smaller, would be good? So that they won't snap in half the second a ball is thrown at them. So either getting them for cheap on trademe, or finding friends/parents who have them sounds like a good idea. I'm sure my dad will know someone who knows someone who has a quidditch pitch somewhere who can lend us goalposts 8D | |

| Only one problem with the Quidditch pitch plan - those things are bloody huge! I can't throw that high... Maybe, as a backup to the PVC plan, we could get different-sized baskets with the bottoms cut out, nail them onto, like.. Sticks. Or planks. Someone's bound to have something along those lines. And then, y'know, it's be more stable, and more adaptable, and you can always do other stuff to it (nail, saw, glue, etc.) Possibly? | |

| Yeah, that could work too. I can get a staff discount at, uh, smiths city? and they sell wood there. | |

| Sweet. Just another option. And with that, we may even be able to fashion some kind of base for them, to make them more stable | |

| Lets go on a mish some time soon to various places to find prices and stuff out. Like - Smiths City and Bunnings and Mitre Ten and the Wuddy Fuddy, etc. I'd say once I get my full, but who knows when that will be. | |

| I approve of Rockface's statement. Our mission, should I choose to force you into accepting it, is to finish exams and then go hardware-hunting.
As an aside, we should totally have games of Harry Hunting. Everyone who plays Quidditch in a massive free-for-all tag game!
It'll be massive eventually, I swear.
